shouldn't that be told somewhere in the article? it was also the last movie this guy made - 78.43.41. he was the one that replaced clayton moore for a few years when he wanted too much cash. Years later, Reid returns to the West as a lawyer devoted to bringing justice to the lawless land. Orphaned as a child, John Reid befriends Tonto, an Indian boy. In the Old West, legends loomed larger than life. John hart has been the 2nd lone ranger out of the original series. Available on Pluto TV, Prime Video, Tubi TV. In the original legend, the Lone Ranger used silver bullets to remind him to use his gun sparingly and to respect human life. Any thoughts? 97.73.64.144 ( talk) 21:43, 27 April 2012 (UTC) I've only seen part of the movie, but I recall a scene where Tonto encouraged John Reid to use silver bullets simply because they were "more accurate". I've never seen this movie all the way through, so I don't know if that's true. If I remember correctly, they particularly despised the violence, especially since one of the hallmarks of the Lone Ranger was his respect for human life. I know Siskel and Ebert (then the hosts of PBS' "Sneak Previews") were among the critics who panned this movie.

Perhaps someone who's seen this thing could at least grace the article with a bleedin' plot synopsis? And Kudos to whomever cleaned this thing up, a 100-fold improvement over how it once appeared! RoyBatty42 ( talk) 17:06, 30 March 2008 (UTC) Plot? RWardy 17:39, 12 September 2007 (UTC) Budget and Revenue Ĭan anyone find a source for the film's budget and box office returns? I remember it being massively over budget, one of the most expensive films that year (think it was priciest Western ever made at that point) and for years considered one of Hollywood's biggest flops. This article has had its infobox tag removed by a cleanup using AWB.Īny concerns please leave me a message at my talk page. From a complete lack of sources, false information and inane trivia (the complete song lyrics?) to an overall lack of proper tone this thing needs a top to bottom rewrite RoyBatty42 18:26, 21 February 2007 (UTC) Removal of "needs infobox" tag Wow, it's rather amazing how bad this article is. 6 "original" lone ranger as part of the cast.
